It's a great company with a leadership team that are very decent people. Most Ivaluans are also just at base very good people and fun to collaborate with. Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It is a very positive experience. The work is challenging and there is no shortage of it. From time to time, I wish I could have more of an impact in my role to get better results (and I know I could have an impact), but change takes time at Ivalua and decision-making is very slow.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefits are very generous and employee-focused.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Sense of humor. Most are hard-working and responsive.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Down to Earth. Cool. Like the fact that most (definitely our CEO) appreciate their employees at a personal level.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Collaborative and energetic culture, especially among some departments that are customer-facing and really engage for the benefit of their customers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Casual yet professional. Great office culture for those who come to the office. A strong sense of customer-focus and collaboration, for the most part.
What makes you most happy at work?
Challenging work and the fact that there is much work to be done requiring my experience and creativity. Working for a smaller, pre-IPO company, we are constantly improving policy, practice, and protocol, and it's great to be able to recommend new approaches to things.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are extremely talented and down to Earth people. Also very fun to work with. DKD is an especially approachable CEO. He makes you feel like a peer and this motivates me to work especially hard for the company. Same with DAM and other execs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Ivaluans are by and large cool people and very approachable. We have a very positive and upbeat culture. Sometimes I think a bit too much as it may gloss over our need to be candid with each other about our mutual needs and performance level.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with and the knowledge that there's a lot of work to do to prepare Ivalua for future growth; and that I can really make an impact in that growth and my talents won't be dissolved into the culture of a massive company.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Benefits offerings are extraordinary in the US, even though I don't take advantage of all of them. I think my base compensation is more or less fair. My bonus really isn't competitive for my level (as a % of base), nor does it reflect the importance of my role.
