I arrived at Namely during a career change. I left an unhappy career with toxic culture, pay, and work life balance. I've extremely happy to start all over at Namely. I feel like a valued professional with many talents that were previously under-looked and unappreciated.
What makes you most happy at work?
Social time with my colleagues- because I've been working remote the entire time so I miss having that camaraderie.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There is no judgement if someone has a knowledge gap. Most people are quick to assist and share their knowledge. People don't mind mentoring one another, invaluable!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most positive is that our CEO leads the way with setting the example for inclusivity and respect for diversity. It really lets others feel comfortable to being their authentic selves to work. People perform better when they can feel safe.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation is low for service team members that works tirelessly to retain clients. It's a role that requires all of the soft skills to be successful (managing upset clients, delivering information in a way that will soothe a situation) so that's probably why it's monetarily undervalued.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
the thing I like best is that they really do see and appreciate the hard work everyone puts in. They see their teams as people with lives in and outside of work. It's great to be viewed and treated as a whole person instead of just a worker
