I joined Namely after a long time with a similar company. Namely's culture is totally different; I am not seen as a number but a contributor who has skills to positively impact the trajectory of the company. The benefits are fantastic and I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for more flexibility.
What makes you most happy at work?
The ability to make a large impact. My ideas are always welcomed and when I want to make changes leadership backs me up if I think it's the right move. Having that kind of support is huge.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The ability to work from home!! As mentioned previously, my family is relatively young (a daughter under 2) and having the option to work from home is a game-changer. I truly think it allows us to be more productive this way.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Overall willingness to help and support. As with any organization every department has their own goals that can some times fall out of alignment with mine, but at the end of the day everyone works well together and does what is needed for the betterment of the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Their focus on the employee as a person. We aren't seen as just another number, but rather a human that has a life outside this place. They are very aware of what is needed for employees to thrive both professionally and personally and do their best to deliver for both. LOVE IT.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
All of the supplemental benefits. As a newly(ish) wed, I was very happy to find out that Namely offers maternity leave that actually allows the time that new moms need with their newborn baby. I cannot thank Namely enough for this benefit to take the stress out of trying to build a family.
