What is the best part about your compensation package?

Very strong cash and stock compensation, plus a very good health plan with a low deductible.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The team is merit-based: they're all very smart, accomplished people who got there by making something, rather than riding someone's coattails.

What makes you most happy at work?

The coworkers are amazing and very fun to work with. I also really like taking on challenges that grow my skills into different areas, and the company is very permissive about this.

What did you like most about the interview process?

The engineering questions were pretty objective, without someone essentially looking for me to confirm their architectural preferences over a whiteboard (as has unfortunately happened to me a few times at other companies).

What are some of the best things about your team?

The team's the major highlight: extremely intelligent, but almost no arrogance. Much more multidimensional than a lot of engineering teams. Everyone has a real passion for the product. Lots of former Googlers on the team. Interesting discussions with coworkers. Great people!

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Due to the flat structure, managers are busy and entrust you with a lot of freedom to do what you think is best for the product. I love that I've been able to pick up tasks I'm competent at that don't quite fall into my job description, like recruiting, and get recognized for them all the same.
