Niantic Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They seem to genuinely care

A nice blend between responsive and laid back. Work life balance is as important as technical excellence and growth. This is a company with a very balanced perspective.

I think their large vision is something I can get behind. Their attempts at more transparency are appreciated though I think it's still not as transparent as it needs to be.

I like the optimism ELT has

The leadership team is very transparent and sticks to commitments.

Review from Engineering Dept

I appreciate the transparency and employee benefits.

I appreciate their transparency and ability to drive change during times of crisis.

Management seems to care very much about your well being and feelings. They've made it their mission to make sure people feel heard and that the company mission and direction are expressed openly and honestly each week.

Review from Engineering Dept

They seem to want to change if you directly engage them, but it is met with lots of push back and questioning- which is reasonable but annoying and makes me not want to give feedback.

Make it clear who our players are and what an amazing community we cultivate and want to support!

Review from Engineering Dept

Transparency, valuing Engineers as humans and Work life balance

Review from Engineering Dept

Very professional and efficient team.

Review from Engineering Dept

The team is merit-based: they're all very smart, accomplished people who got there by making something, rather than riding someone's coattails.

The leadership team is transparent and responsible.

Review from Engineering Dept

Principles-driven, eager to change the world.

Review from Engineering Dept

The experienced, thoughtful team helps lead us to the front of the pack in the AR and tech space.

Transparency, thoughtful leadership, and mentorship

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening to people rather than not

listening not just to their own echo chambers

Review from Engineering Dept

I wish we could be more transparent about upcoming projects/R&D work. Some of it has to be private and I understand that, but I would like a deeper view into what's going on.

Review from Engineering Dept

Continue to improve fluid communications

Response from Niantic
