Felt like I was getting a good opportunity to get to know the team and folks I'd eventually be working with day to day. The team was much smaller at the time though.
The transparency of the recruiter and regular check-ins during every stage of the interview.
Review from Engineering Dept
Focusing on candidate's expertise and vision.
My recruiter was the sweetest and most thoughtful person in the world
My interview process allowed me to meet most of the team that I would be working with. I was asked a series of code theory questions (as opposed to algorithms/traditional "can you code" questions). I enjoyed this a lot more than just coding and being judged on style/syntax.
Review from Engineering Dept
The transparency was nice- good to know where I stood in the interview process even if it did take long
Seeing the office for the first time, I got nothing but good vibes. From the police box door to the person at reception chating about anime happy to put people in a relaxed state for what was a fairly normal interview process. It was the first silicon valley interview I did, and they did it well.
Review from Engineering Dept
I like that many shorter interviews are involved, rather than one long exhausting affair.
Review from Engineering Dept
The engineering questions were pretty objective, without someone essentially looking for me to confirm their architectural preferences over a whiteboard (as has unfortunately happened to me a few times at other companies).
Mixture of whiteboard and real coding
Review from Engineering Dept
The interview process was short, focused, and deep.
Review from Engineering Dept
Speed and efficiency with which I met with key stakeholders involved in my hiring decision.
The supportiveness of the recruiting team as well as their quick responses.
