Comparable to top of the field compensation package.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compared to similar offers that I have seen from other companies, my Niantic offer was lower. I negotiated up a bit in my offer but its still lower than other companies in the area (Microsoft, Google, Snapchat, etc)

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We need to build smaller, more focused teams. Right now, my team has about 15 different projects and none of them are very cohesive. I would prefer if we could categorize, prioritize, and split into smaller teams to get a tighter feedback loop.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The transparency of the recruiter and regular check-ins during every stage of the interview.

My interview process allowed me to meet most of the team that I would be working with. I was asked a series of code theory questions (as opposed to algorithms/traditional "can you code" questions). I enjoyed this a lot more than just coding and being judged on style/syntax.

Seeing the office for the first time, I got nothing but good vibes. From the police box door to the person at reception chating about anime happy to put people in a relaxed state for what was a fairly normal interview process. It was the first silicon valley interview I did, and they did it well.
