I've quickly gotten ramped up and become an important part of the team. I enjoy just about everything about this job.
What makes you most happy at work?
Tackling a really difficult problem. We get to do some awesome development work and everything we does has huge impact all across the world.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Even though we're privately held, I was very generously compensated with options and I do believe I'll be able to convert them to cash someday.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
I wish we could be more transparent about upcoming projects/R&D work. Some of it has to be private and I understand that, but I would like a deeper view into what's going on.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People really love our product and want to make it the best it can be. We play our own games constantly and we take very seriously our own mission of getting people outside to explore.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We need to build smaller, more focused teams. Right now, my team has about 15 different projects and none of them are very cohesive. I would prefer if we could categorize, prioritize, and split into smaller teams to get a tighter feedback loop.
