They are all disconnected from the realities of the world, that is why GE is going down
Review from Engineering Dept
They seem to be genuinely interested in improving the overall performance of General Electric.
Review from Engineering Dept
Recognizing employee insights and ideas, working collectively with their team members, being transparent
Review from Engineering Dept
No transparency. Will not address concerns. Mask the truth from employees. Only concerned about what higher management wants. Do not recognize people's strengths and does not utilize them.
Review from Engineering Dept
Leading, communicating, knowing their employees and customers
Review from Engineering Dept
My direct manager at the shop is great! Could not be happier to work for her. As you go up the chain I feel like executives are more interested in cutting company costs which hurt employees to get their year end bones instead of cutting costs in other places like maybe their ridiculously high bones.

Review from Engineering Dept
Pays scale is lagging with the rest of the industry. Benefits slowly dwindling.
Review from Engineering Dept
Fair annual raises, more transparency on bonus structure, increased education benefits
Review from Engineering Dept
Value your opinions more, listen to details that improve process, begin to enforce consistent, accurate record keeping to build a base to track production and machine down time.
Review from Engineering Dept
Compensation tied to stock price of GE obviously not compensation at all these days.
Review from Engineering Dept
Stock is down. They are changing the rewards and recognition program to where we can no longer do cash value. Their retention agreement for tuition reimbursement is way to long (should be 2 year). If I was not on retention agreement I would move companies.
Review from Engineering Dept

Review from Engineering Dept
Assure them when they have questions. Teach them when they lack the knowledge to perform their job. Encourage them to push aside Management's feeling about them and do your best for yourself. Feel good about completing a job or fixing equipment. You will rarely get positive feedback from management.
Review from Engineering Dept
Co-workers are great and are mostly in the same situation as me. I think the problem is executives.
Review from Engineering Dept
Better new hire process. For getting better workers.
Review from Engineering Dept
They are in the same boat as myself. Everything keeps getting taken away from the average white collar employee and not Upper management

Review from Engineering Dept
Compensate employees fairly and purge toxic leadership
Review from Engineering Dept
No more watching over our shoulders. Better and quicker computer systems.
Review from Engineering Dept
Discipline the employees that do not want to work instead of just walking by them like it is OK. It creates turmoil in the facility.
Review from Engineering Dept

Review from Engineering Dept
Challenging assignments and technical challenges
Review from Engineering Dept
No focus on building a good base system to follow for all employees. Analyse pitfalls with entire group. Address resolutions. Enforce new rules. Create accountability rules. Build strong base workforce through training on weaknesses.
Review from Engineering Dept
Company moral is lower than in the past which spreads to make everyone unhappy. I think the executives need to find a way to improve employee moral. Like a larger bones due to the new tax bill.
Review from Engineering Dept
The company needs a vision and a roadmap. All the leadership cares about is short term performance and the stock price.
Review from Engineering Dept
Less top down managers.
Review from Engineering Dept
Management ignores the employees that do not work and increase the work load on the ones that do. Correct the problem or lose the employees.
Review from Engineering Dept
Well respected company still in the industry
