Quit buying junk parts from over sea's, and get back to building quality products.
They need a reality check. They are just a bunch of sound bytes. They don't live up to the mission statements they dream up

I think women tend to be promoted far less in technical tracks.
Under compensated in all aspects of benefits! Better medical and pay!
GE cut M1 wages from $30/hr to $19/hr, while C-level management makes millions. Unethical greed at the Corporate Level is out of control.

Co works are all willing to help anybody. Even with the extensive overtime hour worked for the company away from families.
They work together so well to bring projects to fruition on time with excellent customer service

I met with manager's from different area's and I was called back the same day.

GE forces a lot of beaurocracy on us, the culture is annoying at best. I try to ignore it mostly and just get my work done.

What's the internship program like at General Electric ?
Very educational. Treat the juniors very well.
I do not recommend this internship program anymore. The company has changed so much since the crisis that is currently affecting the company. In the past I would recommend it blindly. The company has other priorities at this moment, training is not one of them. I have seen many stupid decisions in this process. In the past an internship in GE was a jewel, today there many other opportunities in the market that are far better and offer broader career paths.
Horrible, because of the amount of responsibilities that are given usually to offset the cost of skilled labor.
