  • Make promises to younger employees and demote older ones to open positions saying they need to change for the company. have people picked for positions before the position is even posted.

  • Meritocracy is what they claim. In fact, it's a game of favorites.

  • It is not very well, they give 2 weeks but make you take it at shutdown times, until your 5th year you cant use vacation time.

  • Please put in paper towel dispensers at the kitchen. Please do more fun summer parties like we just had with the Summer Splash. Please keep hiring younger talent.

  • Bad. no one will admit it

  • Strong on ethics and integrity. That's deeply embedded everywhere. GE is still struggling with top down vs bottom up management style. Trying to get more towards bottom up, but older leaders aren't quite on board with that approach yet. Change is constant, and typically a bit painful but also usually for the better. There is a deep focus on improvement and always trying to get better, sometimes meaningfully and sometimes superficially, but constant improvement is very important.
