What's the interview process like at Intel Corporation?
Top Employee Response
It can be intimidating... 2-3 interviews involving both behavioral and technical questions. Can be pretty challenging to navigate.
varies per department and manager, role and position. Unlike some of the FAANG interviews, the interview process will be more tailored to the needs.
I hope it's good, I give lots of interviews but have only been on the other side of the table once over 40 years ago.
How's the vacation policy at Intel Corporation?
Top Employee Response
In depended on the state. California's government required some weird crap with paying PTO or some stupid crap. I was in Oregon. There you got 3 weeks per year, completely flexible, approved by your manager only, and it was only tracked informally, usually on personal spreadsheets. You get 4 weeks once you've been there 10 years. It is use or lose it, which I liked because their attitude was USE IT!

It's pretty typical. 3 weeks for the first 10 years then 4 weeks. All flexible between you and the manager, no central tracking.
What interview questions does Intel Corporation ask?
Behavioral (evaluate your soft skills) and technical (evaluate technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills)
Basic engineering skills are critical. I like to see if you remember anything about differential equations and vectors. The most important thing you need to prove to me is that you are smart. Other interviewers like to judge people skills because EVERYTHING is done in teams. If you cannot be successful in a team you will not be successful at Intel.
General behavioral interview questions.

Top Employee Response
WAY too often. Get your crap together.
Far too often. The current CEO seemed to do them more often. It is indicative of terrible decisions and management of resources. If you are there always be ready to leave.

At Intel they don't call them lay off unless it's a big one like what Intel did in the past 5 years, 2 layoffs each ~10% of company. However you won't even know about those unless you were affect or you are close to some people who were affected.
