It used to be a good company but private equity acquisition ruined it. They chewed us and spit out.

I do not know them very well yet
Review from Engineering Dept
The focus on AI in everything we are doing right now
Review from Engineering Dept
Supportive in all aspects and gives the freedom to explore, learn and improvise
Review from Engineering Dept
The leaders seem to have clear vision about company's and team members growth.
Review from Engineering Dept
Their experience is very extensive
Review from Engineering Dept
Listen to the employees. Take the employee engagement survey results important. Rectify employee highlighted issues. Apparently, we sell Employee Experience Management software and we ourselves don't give a rat's a$$ about the feedback we receive from our employees. Irony.
Review from Engineering Dept
Stop saying that remote-based employees are "on the couch" and it's time for "everyone to show up and collaborate". This is unfair to many people who show up and work hard while being remote. Communicate better if cutting benefits while maintaining questionable sponsorships.
Review from Engineering Dept
Transparency in regards to salary ranges & promotion pathways.
Review from Engineering Dept
Respect employees. Set a clear company vision. Stop hiding information (be transparent). Medallia cares more about image/branding than delivering products. This 'Comparably' survey was only shared with a small number of people in the company, seemingly to try to garner favorable results only.
Review from Engineering Dept
Invest in people and benefits. Medallia used to have an amazing culture that has vanished since all that matters is profitability.
Review from Engineering Dept
the salary. health insurance denies claims often. dental network is too small.
Review from Engineering Dept
Tying merit increase to a ridiculously restrictive non-compete, non-disclose etc. agreement is not the way to go.
Review from Engineering Dept
Salary is good, insurance is wide
Review from Engineering Dept
I like the PF part about my compensation.
Review from Engineering Dept
The monetary benefits are good
Review from Engineering Dept
There is a disconnect in the compensation to the job positions. There are no specific salary bands per job title. I'm being paid at least 40-50% less compared to the similar roles in similar organizations in my country. The merit increases every year doesn't even meet inflation in my country.
Review from Engineering Dept
Most SaaS companies of the same size and reputation offer incredible benefits such as health and education stipends, offsite, swag, and team-building activities. Nothing like that is happening in Medallia.
Review from Engineering Dept
No stock options/RSUs, no reasonable merit increase percentages, no budget for team building activities, no budget for wellness.
Review from Engineering Dept
Many people in the organization are "promoted" in title only, with no compensation increase (more responsibility for no monetary increase). Anyone who changes job function is given a title at least 1 or 2 levels below their status.
Review from Engineering Dept
Bonus, apprisal based on location, oncall policies are missing
Review from Engineering Dept
The people here is the only reason i am still with this company.
Review from Engineering Dept
Stellar talent, smart, collaborative, driven, no ego
Review from Engineering Dept
Always willing to help and brainstorm problems together
Review from Engineering Dept
I feel special about my team as my team members are very helpful, cooperative, have good knowledge about the company's product and are skillful in the roles they are in. I never felt like I was left out. Manager supports me in every possible way and helps me figure out things quickly
Review from Engineering Dept
Extensive knowledge in their area, always ready to help
Review from Engineering Dept
none of us have ever seen each other in person. Not even once a year are we flown to do constructive team planning. Its almost impossible doing proper planning thats beyond the basics with a team all over the world. Bring back budget so we can get to know each other again. We are not robots.
Review from Engineering Dept
They should care more about the quality of their work because after some time every shortcut they take comes back to bite us.
Review from Engineering Dept
Most high level meetings are a collection of individual agendas clashing rather than groups of people working on a common goal. If everyone knew the plan we could align with one another better. We're great collaborators who are wasting time working on disparate (often conflicting) things.
Review from Engineering Dept
Clearer roles and responsibilities.
Review from Engineering Dept
Culture is great, they value your feedback
Review from Engineering Dept
Interesting challenges, autonomy to design and complete your scope of effort
Review from Engineering Dept
The company values people. You get no questions asked PTOs. The work is adequately distributed in my team.
Review from Engineering Dept
We're at the forefront of innovation
Review from Engineering Dept
The values we follow here
Review from Engineering Dept
Less process/bureaucracy slowing everything down. Real vision to profitability not just "i guess we have to rebuild everything". Respect employees more than nonsense benefits like 'mental health apps' and online painting classes? Who has time for that when we are struggling to deliver products!
Review from Engineering Dept
Care about your employees. The CEO should stop acting like we're stupid - for example, the "unprecedented" holiday shutdown you've never heard of is a very common thing. I'm confused how you're confused, Joe.
Review from Engineering Dept
They should guide the company culture instead of trying to brute force it.
Review from Engineering Dept
More career and technical trainings
Review from Engineering Dept
The company needs to sell the product as it actually exists instead of selling features that don't exist and committing development teams to impossible timelines without consultation. It's impossible to do a good job when you're being told to cut corners everywhere.

Review from Engineering Dept
I like what I do and the projects, team and code quality are all quite good and comfortable to work with
Review from Engineering Dept
From the last 2 years we are having continuous changes in the ELT. This needs to stop. Company needs to pay employees fairly. There should be a third party market research company involved who decides if we are getting paid right or not. Restructure the compensation grades.
Review from Engineering Dept
There are no challenges or new projects
Review from Engineering Dept
Start listening to employees instead of making decisions in a vacuum. Stop cutting costs and hire people where the talent really is, give a wellness stipend, open offices back again in places where people can actually attend
Review from Engineering Dept
Slow pace of productivity (complex processes, fedramp, compliance all slow down work). Company not profitable. Driven to cut operational costs with no consideration for product quality. Overworked. Underpaid. I basically don't take lunches any more to try to get anything done around here.
Review from Engineering Dept
Everything. This company is a sinking ship. They buy companies to bleed them dry & run them into the ground. I can't wait to get out of here.
