What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is very friendly and fits the stereotype for GameDev. They're fun to be around and they come up with amazing product ideas.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The culture is all about Games, Fitness, Being Out in the World, Inclusion of all people, and much more. There is always a group of like minded people around.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Management seems to care very much about your well being and feelings. They've made it their mission to make sure people feel heard and that the company mission and direction are expressed openly and honestly each week.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compared to similar offers that I have seen from other companies, my Niantic offer was lower. I negotiated up a bit in my offer but its still lower than other companies in the area (Microsoft, Google, Snapchat, etc)

What makes you most happy at work?

I'm most happy when I have tasks to do that can keep me on my toes. I love when I am able to work my hardest, yet not have immense pressure weighing down on me in terms of time.

What did you like most about the interview process?

My interview process allowed me to meet most of the team that I would be working with. I was asked a series of code theory questions (as opposed to algorithms/traditional "can you code" questions). I enjoyed this a lot more than just coding and being judged on style/syntax.
