The company is very laid back in its approach to people and processes. We need a philosophy of accountability to coincide with the helping people reach their potential and daily/qtrly goals. Seems we miss goals and it's shrugged off repeatedly. Too much arrogance with no reason.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I believe the pay is decent. Bonuses are lower than industry standard.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have established a closeness and a bond that enables us to accomplish our daily mission in a professional manner while caring for each other.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Seems there is a shift in philosophy in the company with the changes in technology. Beginning to bring in the talent and personalities to move the company in the right direction.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Hold people accountable for lack of performance. Too many people-management and those on the production floor, seem to just lackadaisically go through the motions of the day without any proof of accomplishing goals or our mission as a company. When leadership visits plants, meet the people.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with, both my immediate boss and those on my team. I want to feel part of something, allowed to contribute, that I matter and so does my opinion and experience. Allow me to be innovative and change processes to make us successful-not go through the motions of how we "always did it"
