There needs to be more empowerment. A lot of things are handled at a higher level which really doesn't need to be done. Employees should have a chance to have an impact on what they do. Right now, there is very little collaboration. it is more a dictated work environment.

the plant manager Since he has stepped in its a veru toxic environment to work with him. always walking on eggshells and he has created a negative narrative towards several employees that don't report to him let alone the ones that do.

Better communication, it's really hard to do your job and seem like you know what you're doing when you don't because of a lack of communication. Meaning what we say too. It's often said that production numbers take a back seat to safety and quality but that is not how it feels on the floor.

Hold people accountable for lack of performance. Too many people-management and those on the production floor, seem to just lackadaisically go through the motions of the day without any proof of accomplishing goals or our mission as a company. When leadership visits plants, meet the people.

Disrespect, inclusion, transparency, trust, opportunity, stop using personality tests that pigeon hole people.
Go to 8 hours not force overtime and promise it will stop next month and proceed to say that for a year.
