I have been with the company for less than a month. This is probably my last stop on the career highway. I have oftentimes heard employers say that they have a focus on their employees.... Palo Alto Networks walks the walk! I am impressed with the leadership, approach, and company in general!
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is friendly and genuinely interested in one another. No drama, no politics.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team certainly has a vision! Two major product releases were announced within my first month aboard and these are about to disrupt the market. Exceptional vision!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Palo Alto Networks provides what they call "Flex Benefits", to the tune of $1000/yr for the employee to use on things that are important to them. I've worked at many large companies. This is a first and I love it!
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview process was pretty average. Very nice people conducting the interviews. Recruiters are top-notch and really ally with you to help you put your best foot forward. The only negative is that the whole process was pretty protracted for me, but I will assume that to be an anomaly.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company celebrates success. They have an exceptionally strong focus on inclusion and diversity. Being a white male, this is not usually a concern for me, but it is important for my counterparts at work. The world could use more inclusion and diversity along the magnitude that PAN delivers it!
What makes you most happy at work?
Before I was an employee, I was a customer for 3 separate employers over the years. I was drawn to an opportunity here because of how well Palo Alto Networks supports their customers. It makes me happy to be able to continue to offer that same level of service to my customers!
