My experience has been very positive since I joined PANW. I've worked mainly at startups, as well as a couple large organizations. My experience with large orgs wasn't great and I had reservations about joining another one. Palo has changed my mind. The culture, resources and opportunity.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Best part of the compensation package is probably the ESPP. Sales below the director level not receiving equity is not unusual but it would be nice if that were to change.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're collaborative, data-driven and highly-oriented towards achieving our results. This organization is constantly innovating and seeking ways to improve, which is not always the case in a lot of sales organizations
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping people. What drew me to PANW is the level of impact that we have not only on organizations but people's well-being. I also value being around people who I genuinely enjoy talking to and working with
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was expedited in my case which demonstrated that they valued my candidacy. It was organized except for a couple times when the recruiter (who was new) seemed to be struggling to connect me with the appropriate person/information
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're very transparent about what's going on. They don't shy away from answering questions and embrace challenges in ways that you don't see in most organizations. Their accolades and experience is one thing but how they carry themselves within our organization is entirely different
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People genuinely seem to enjoy working together. I see and hear them talking about work in the gym. The environment is welcoming in its diversity and attitude. I've worked at other top-ranked organizations where the attitude could be interpreted as arrogant and unwelcoming. Not the case here
