I love my job at republic services. My coworkers and my self do believe that the wrong people are being put in leader ship positions. We believe that our BU should hire from within, not people who have zero experience in the trash industry, we can continue to help build where we may be failing
What makes you most happy at work?
The fact that I can come into work and help get the route done and make the drivers laugh and help motivate them every morning before I leave the shop
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers, as in drivers we communicate daily about things that could affect our job, and or one of our team members. We do not keep it a secret, and it is never a need to know basis
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Taking suggestions to heart. Decisions that need to be made. Should not take longer than a week. You should come in on Monday, talk about what needs to be fixed fix it by Friday and start again on Monday with new issues at hand
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive part I do believe in our business unit is that our drivers communicate about everything we do not keep secrets and it is never a need to know basis we have drivers believe we need to know what is going on that may affect our job as a whole
