What are your coworkers at Republic Services like?
Managers are a joke The real workers are all in the same situation so they bond with each other.
Coworkers are beat down by so called Management and don't see anyway out and knows nothing is going to change. It's the battered woman's syndrome. Run far, far, away.
It really depends because every person is unique, but in my area/areas I work in, most of them are great. I've not clashed heads with anyone at least.
What do you wish you knew before starting at Republic Services?

How's the vacation policy at Republic Services?
The vacation policy is generous however it is not worth the hassle of working for this Company. Run, Run , Run This is the worst place to work ever.
How hard is it to get promoted at Republic Services?
You're not going to get promoted. It is an industry of good ole boys and only friends and family or boot lickers that pose no threat get promoted by the ones who are already in place.

There is no being successful in the Mobile Al and Pensacola Fl market. The GM, Controller, and Sales Manager is not going allow that to happen. If they cannot control, manipulate, and belittle you then they will elemante you. Republic is well aware this is occurring and does nothing to stop it. Save yourself the misery and never,never,never go to work for these idiot's.

Leave while you still can. You will not receive training, encouragement, or any form of appreciation You are destined to fail.
