This company does not care about the average worker that is actually running the store. There is a lack of concern over employee safety and there are many health code violations at every location. It is a disgrace to work for this company.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a very straightforward process, quick, simple, easy.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Store managers are generally very good at trying to keep the stores afloat, however executive and corporate cut corners and withhold necessary funds to maintain proper facilities.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people at Sheetz are genuine and hard working, however they are overworked and overstressed. And with the anti-union sentiment created and fostered by corporate policies, this is unlikely to change.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Employees are generally incredibly apathetic and take little care of the stores. If better compensated for their work I am certain employees would care much more for the quality of their stores.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Sheetz as a corporation makes roughly $300,000 per employee. These funds never see the average service worker, without whom the company wouldn't exist. The average service worker makes around $30,000 a year, while generating 10 times that amount for the company
