We're doing something important here. And, for the most part, we get to do it with people who are invested in that importance more than their own personal gain. It's easy to rally around the cause, because it's important. Hard to do that in an ad tech company, for example.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The fact that we're working on something worthwhile, and the fitness aspect. Can't say enough about fitness, physical, mental, emotional.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're all good humans, kind, smart, typically athletic or exercise oriented, which tends to promote a feeling of energy and enthusiasm because...brain chemistry.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I rarely need to think about how much money I make or spend. It's the Goldilocks principle at work. Not going to get rich, but nowhere near poor.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like building things, designing and then programming. I also enjoy steering other engineers in the (hopefully) the right direction and being able to help and feel like I'm of service to them, and to the world just generally.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Mostly I like the product, the business model. Eric M. also seems like a kind person who has altruism in the heart, and I'm privileged to work for both him and Alaryk. Engineering needs a stronger presence at the executive level though, otherwise we're going to have problems both short and long term
