— A large database of hundreds of thousands of salaries and job titles, along with over 1 million structured and comprehensive employee ratings anonymously shared on Comparably from March 2016 to June 2017.

Our Methodology:
As the leader in structured workplace culture data, a CEO’s approval rating on Comparably is not simply asked in a YES/NO format; it is asked on a sliding scale from 1-10. We also segment how females (gender score) and various ethnicities (diversity score) rate their CEOs.
From the 1 million employee ratings within our database, we pulled the CEOs in tech with an overall 80% approval rating with the following criteria for the most accurate comparison
— Small companies (100-1,500 employees): at least 25+ CEO ratings;
— Mid-size companies (1,500-3,500 employees): at least 40+ CEO ratings;
— Large companies (more than 3,500 employees): at least 80+ CEO ratings.
Results: 5,000+ employee ratings of their respective CEOs.
