How much of your potential do you think you’re using? The most popular answer: 50 to 75%.
The latest reading of an ongoing query by Comparably shows that 34% of people said 50% to 75%. An almost equal proportion of respondents chose “75 to 90%”.
The least popular answer was “100% or greater” (6%), followed next by “90-99%” (9%), and “0-50%” (19%).
Men vs. women
Men and women were nearly identical in their responses, though women were slightly more likely to say they were using at lest 90% of their potential (17% vs. 14% of men).
The education correlation
People who had achieved a high school degree had the highest rates of saying they were at 90% or more of their full potential (32%). The rate declined from there, hitting a low among those who had achieved a Masters degree — just 12% of them said they were at 90% or more of their full potential.

Age differences
While it may seem logical that workers in their younger years would report the lowest rates of using their full potential and workers in their older years would report the highest rates of using their full potential, workers across all ages were similar in their responses. Here, a snapshot of workers aged 18 to 25 vs. workers aged 51 to 55:
