Transparency. HRs are just to conduct fun activties
The minute they quit, the company will start improving, period.
The cofounders are there to stay and they will never change. For 17 years, they have run this company the same way: lie to customers, lie to employees, replace executives when they finally realize how they operate, and the cycle repeats. Read the critical reviews on Glassdoor; they're spot on.
The pay is well below the average in Bay Area. As someone who reported to the CEO, I was told that "we do not give raises at this level." Yet I was expected to work around the clock to respond to customer "fires" created by the CEO himself and Sales/BizDev overcommitting/lying to customers. Madness!
They should act professional instead of following what their managers say
I have mixed feelings: they're good, but it's hard to collaborate with them. They only care about THEIR careers and not about everybody's else. They are not really good team players.
Work in another company that values their employees. Your time and talent is too valuable to waste on this toxic work environment run by these cofounders.
I work at the customer's office. At HQ it was good, the few times I've visited.
Toxic work environment that stems from the top (the cofounders). Employees are tracked when they arrive/leave the office, and expected to take early AM & late PM calls with India team. Rampant finger pointing & politics among depts. Constant re-orgs. Extreme turnovers. Women disrespected. Chaos.
If you know someone, you would be selected
Find another company that is "normal" and get out of this abusive "relationship" like many other employees who have realized and left to work in much happier places and thrive.
