Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like my locations manager but ither than that they are sneaky and lie
They are easy to get ahold of and are very understanding about situations you bring up and are open to ideas and we'll work with you Hands-On for a resolution.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being understanding and not yell
Recognizing poor management in store
Better organizational skills would be nice
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Discounts, music, movies, people, dental.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay is not competitive compared to what other retailers are paying especially for the amount of work and extra hours they're requiring you to put in. Insurance is kind of high and comes out every week and there's no 401K match. Pay is determined by location by the CEO.
Minimum wage is not acceptable for the amount of work we are required to do
What are some of the best things about your team?
We try to help each other out and we all get along.
I love the associate staff and my assistant manager
They are supportive and fun to work with

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My manager is open about what goes on behind the scenes
Soke coworkers are fun to work with thats it
In terms of environment the stuff that we sell is fun and in return the people I work with and customers that come in usually fit that crowd. Which in return makes the environment fun
certainly the children that come in for the toys and candy, also the dress code is very open to self expression

What did you like most about the interview process?
The interviewer was nice but she left the company already
straight to the point, training right away almost,. quick hiring
It gave me a chance to get to know my assistant managers

my co-workers and the environment of being a mall employee

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
If Jim would actually take care of his management teams and employees turnover wouldn't be as bad. Also if they transitioned to a loyalty program instead of an outdated system and try to build an improve on things that would help the company as a whole. If they still did events that would also help.
The store manager at our location is terrible and blames things on associates to make herself look better
