It depends on the business unit. Some of them don't allow work from home at all. I worked for Fox News Digital (part of the 21CF family) and had to burn a vacation day whenever I had stuff to do at home.

Extremely busy. Very lean staffed. Little time for big picture thinking or even the bathroom.
