They have done this job and are the best mentors.
Good support team. Sometimes a bit slow. After hearing about some of the recent data breaches like American Water I'm concerned that I could experience something similar.
Excellent solutions for customers. Management is hands-on, feet on the streets with sales team. Leadership is accessible and the work culture motivates you to do your best work. Clients appreciate personal care. Manager shows you how to work 8 hour days=calls/visits/marketing videos/networking. A+

Depending on the department
No. The company is happily phasing these out.
What's the company culture like at Hibu?
It is all about sales
It is Sales Focused. So if you are not in sales, you need to do your job and support sales no matter what.

Long and drawn out
There are a standard set of questions that are asked and tests that are taken. It is a little frustrating that we are passing on good people because they are not meeting certain numbers on testing.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Hibu?

Recognize the back end support. Have someone who actually cares about Operations and not just making sure the numbers are met. Have some women in higher levels.
Realize that Sales is not everything. They can sell, but they do not fill the customers order. The Operations and Fulfillment teams deserve respect and appreciation too.
What do people at Hibu think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Sales love him, however operations does not. He is a sales guy and that is his main focus. He does not respect or appreciate the non-sales team and has made that quite clear. We had one perk and it was taken away without any type of reason or explanation.
Sales loves the CEO, however, other departments do not think to highly. This company has turned into a completely sales focused and operations just needs to make sure they do or fulfill what sales promises. It is a struggle at times since all perks of being in operations have been taken away without an explanation or notice.

They ask questions regarding your goals, how you will fit in with the company, and there is a standard list of the "Tell us about a time" questions that are used also.

The people I work with.
What's the office vibe like at Hibu?
Depends on the department. Parts are fine and others are very tense.
How does Hibu make decisions around promotions?
Who they like the most is who gets promoted.
How's the vacation policy at Hibu?
It's ok. but you max out at 15 years with the company on vacation.
What are the team outings like at Hibu?
We have team outings once a year. They are fun and it's nice to relax
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Hibu?
Depends on your position. Some people have an active social life. Others do not.
What's the best part of your job at Hibu?
Having the ability at times to work from home if needed

Once a year raises are given. You get a very little raise.
How do you feel about going to work at Hibu everyday?
It used to be fun to go to work, now it is just what is broken in our systems now. It is no longer fun when all you do is have problems thrown on you all the time.
How secure do you feel at your job at Hibu?
Not very. Layoff Rumors are always flying around.
How much diversity is there among employees at Hibu?
Quite a bit. So many different types of positions and responsibilities.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Hibu?
That the company would be sold or bought out multiple times and that the people who own it really only care about lining their pockets and not about the people
How's the morale at Hibu?
Low in operations. Always worrying about jobs being off-shored and rumors of layoffs
What unique perks and benefits does Hibu provide?
For Operations you may or may not get a bonus.
What's the office layout like at Hibu?
Depends on which office you are in. In Cedar Rapids you are split up among different floors and have to use a pass key to go anywhere. In King of Prussia you are on different floors but it is an open layout and you can come and go for the most part as you please.
What's the pay like for Operations roles at Hibu?
It is below average which is why the turnover is high
What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at Hibu? How many hours are you working?
I work from 50 - 60 hours a week, the stress level is pretty high due to needing to make numbers or suffer the consequences.
What's the Operations team like at Hibu?
They are a great team to be around, however they are also very frustrated with all the changes that come down weekly.
