Craig Apolinsky — VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at GMS

Mr. Craig D. Apolinsky has been the Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at GMS Inc. since July 2015. Mr. Apolinsky served as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Alere Medical, Inc. Mr. Apolinsky served as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Alere Health, LLC from September 2008 to May 2014. Prior to joining Gold Kist in 2007, he was a partner at Alston & Bird LLP, where he practiced in the areas of corporate, securities and mergers and acquisitions for eleven years. He served as a Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney with the law firm of Taylor English Duma LLP from December 2014 to July 2015. He served as Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Merge Healthcare Incorporated from April 2007 to August 2008 and also served as its Vice President. He led Merge's worldwide legal affairs for their U.S., Canadian, Indian and European operations. From 2005 to 2007, he worked for Gold Kist Inc., served as its Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. He is a Member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. He concentrated his practice on mergers and acquisitions and securities law, with a special emphasis on the technology and health care industries. Mr. Apolinsky holds a J.D. degree with honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and his Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in 1989.
