Good benefits! Really like how BECU is giving back to the communities it serves.

The company has ZERO direction, the only real thing that you can see from the top executives is the desire to take this Not For Proffit into Aquisition or go on a Merger and Aquisitions. There is NO desire to actually improve the company and the work environment has gone from pleasant to miserable.

Great people, but constant change

Not inclusive to those with mental health issues, refuse to support or do anything about harassment. Expect you to handle it on your own and if you have a bully of a boss or colleague good luck as BECU will do nothing to help stop the situation. They are not a trauma informed workplace.

I'm still quite new so it's difficult to give a fair rating but good company, strong vision with plenty of room to improve.

BECU has some of the best leaders I've ever worked with. There are many changes happening within the organization, but I feel our leaders have done well at ensuring everyone knows what is happening and why. I have worked at many financial institutions. This is by far the best culture i have seen.

Always there as support and a great pair of second eyes. They are always excited to educate us each and every day.

Handle issues when they are brought to your attention, stop ignoring issues as it hurts good employees and creates an toxic environment.

Compensation is fair and benefits are generous. however, 401K matching vests over 5 years which is quite long.

Everything because I know they want us all to grow within and I see that in the bear future.

I feel I am paid fairly for the work I do.

I am paid well and can get by.

New hires are getting paid more than me and i have been there for 3 years. I have the highest level consultant and have had several "pay raises" but new hires are starting at what im getting paid.

My teammates are kind, empathetic and accountable

Team mates are so willing to help and support - big hearted and generous people with great insights.

Each of us are our own creative big hearted individuals. There's a real reason BECU chose us.

Most people care about doing the right thing and attempt to be constructive. The reality is that most people are unsure about the strategy and direction, so we just feel like we are doing busy work and not adding value to the transformational goals.

Work environment. Supportive and fun

Meetings about meetings and everyone thinks they can book over things already on your calendar. When you ask them not to do that they get upset and throw a fit because you blocked out two hours to work outside of back to back meetings.

Need a more diverse way of thinking

Talk to each other and value each other as people.

Be more friendly and open minded

It seems like a lot of people work part time or are out of the office a lot. People generally sign off of go home quite early, but leave a lot of work left to do on the table. Some departments are worse than others and people often mimick their managers’ habits. Should work at least 40 hours a week.

People are positive, the company cares about doing the right thing. Love remote work.

Need less focus on titles and management levels. It leads to burdensome bureaucracy and inconsistent communication.

The team members were reasonable and were concerned about how I would fit into the team

I got to meet the team I would be working with. I don't think that is the case any longer

Personable, fun, educating, and the interviewer seemed interested in who I am as a person in general.
