Q&A With TSIA Employees

They were all specific to the position I had applied for. We want to know you know your stuff.

I've interviewed at a lot of large and small companies, and TSIA's interview process is not too bad. You meet with the head of the department as well as team members you will be working with in that department to really get a feel for the team.

Lately, not great. There have been some great times working there where I was energized to come in, but other times, including now, that I don't look forward to going in.

These depend on the department but expect in-depth questions regarding work experience as well as example scenarios to gauge your problem-solving skills and work-related skill sets.

There is a yearly review and raise at the end of each fiscal year. The increase varies but is competitive and includes inflation.

A decent level of autonomy to complete my projects

It ebbs and flows. The pace picks up around conference time.

Few and far between. There is a holiday party but we cannot bring family. There are a couple offsite meetings each year as well, but you are working. Some teams go on more outings than others.

Come to the interview prepared with knowledge of the company and also questions for the interviewer(s). This is a professional environment and your interview attire should reflect that as well (business casual).

I feel I have great job security here. There is very little churn at the company and they do try to promote from within.

Unlimited time off and a kitchen always full of different drinks and snacks. They also have dog-friendly Fridays for employees to bring their dogs into the office.

Open(ish) floor plan split up for each department. There is a very tiny kitchen upstairs and a small one downstairs as well.

There is not very much diversity among employees at this company.

The lack of sufficient office space for the growing team. It will be resolved eventually but is something that I would have liked to know beforehand.

The morale has its general ups and downs as most companies do. I would say, for the most part, that the team has a pretty high morale from day-to-day as the company has only been succeeding!

An actual break room and company events.

Decent. Most are out of the office by 5 every day. However, we have some really hardworking employees that go above and beyond and do stay late. You get out what you put in.

Unlimited PTO that they encourage you to utilize.

Yes, but they are reserved for VP-level positions.

Sales is a boy's club. The company is pretty segmented throughout the building and there is no true break room or lunch area to sit and eat. A bigger office space would help out a lot.
