First off the training is crap. I've been there for a month already and I feel i should be comfortable ringing up people but I've been trained by 3 different people, 3 different ways and it's ridiculous. The manager helped me once with a customer and that was the easiest way to ring someone in.

Inworked fir Anericas best and am a well respected Ootician in the field. Was turing a oroboem store around of three years in as little as 7 months, got one complaint and two months later hear about it and fire me on the second complaint. They get complaints all the time. No coaching. just fired

Pay is meh; money hungry company

Impossible daily budgets. Customers do not understand eye exams are 10 minute blocks so if they are even 5 minutes late our schedule gets backed up. We also must endure any verbal abuse the customers dole out.

I get along with coworkers. The more we do with less people, the more they expect. Pay is not that great. Fast food is offering higher salary

The immediate team is amazing and will have your back. They support you and try to find the best solution. They see a good worker and do whatever they can to retain them. Corporate side is a different story. But the district managers and general managers are great.

Its a great reason to have a team to work together smoothly

They're approachable and genuinely care about me

Helping employees learn the quickest and easiest ways to get a customer in and out if the store. If it wasn't for one certain person helping me I'd done walked out. It acts like it kills them to help you do something when that's their job.

I feel like the pay should be more with the nonsense that we put up with from the so called leaders. Im glad I have a job but I don't enjoy getting up and going everyday cause of the atmosphere and some of the people there.

Instead of some acting like they know everything and acting like they're the only ones that do anything. Everyone needs to work together and make it a great place to quell. You're suppose to help each other out instead of making it harder on each other.

One on one, spoke with different managers, able to discuss what the expectations were and how things worked before going in to the job
