Informally structured. Everyone works for one goal. Transparent communication. Leadership likes to avoid meetings and focus on getting everything done through simple processes. Meetings happen only and only for brainstorming and retrospections.
Not people focussed at all
Flexible and open. Discussions and arguments are taken constructively both by engineers and leadership. There is good amount of brainstorming which happens across different departments and opinions are respected by any member irrespective of their designation. Open and comfortable environment.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at EdCast?
It’s difficult as you are required to work long hours and on weekends
When you work 60 hours a week there is no social life

Those who say Yes to the CEO and are willing to be mistreated
People with strong urge to do great things with high energy. If you lack energy or love 9-6 job are the people who won't enjoy here.
How's the work pace at EdCast?
Very confusing- keep changing direction
Oh that is uncomfortably fast at times. And high enough to keep you stressed once or twice a week. Comfortable at other times.
What are the team outings like at EdCast?
No team outing in 4 years - there is no concept of investment in people
Since last 6-8 months, a lot of fun. A lot. Team outings have been an amazing experience. We go out every 6 months and there are lot of amazing competitive events planned.
How challenged are you at EdCast?
Barely challenged - rather continual direction change makes it overwhelming
Very challenged. I wait for the day where I don't have to solve 10 problems and relax and not work. :)
What benefits does EdCast provide?
1. Strong acquaintances which is very good for career in long run. 2. Get to work on latest technologies doing lot of innovative things. Like seriously innovative. 3. Salary is as per Industry standard, in safe range, not too high to not get next job, not too low to feel like looking for new job.
