    There is an annual company picnic that is mostly catered and focused around families. The holiday party, in the last few years, has downgraded to a catered lunch at a location just down the road from the main facility, where $25 gift cards are given to all employees. There is a staff (non-production) golf outing once each late summer or early fall, and it is combined with an all-hands/state of the business meeting. A continental breakfast is provided beforehand. Lunch is served by the grill at the turn and dinner is actually hors d'oeuvres. Drink tickets are supplied throughout the event.

    Business casual. Jeans are permitted unless a visitor is on-site; a collared shirt is still required. Friday’s are a bit more casual than the rest of the week.

  • Most of our customer base is defense/military, so there’s a sense of pride in knowing the work we do supports our armed forces and allies. In terms of direct benefits, AAR Mobility Systems offers a $1,500 per year contribution to HSA accounts and company-supplied life, AD&D and disability insurances. Fringe benefits include an annual company/family picnic with prizes and activities, an annual salaried golf outing and occasionally company gear (such as shirts, etc).

  • I wish I’d known the senior level management better. Like any company, AAR has its own set of issues. Senior leadership hasn’t grasped the definition of insanity yet, or is too comfortable with status quo to make any real changes that could positively change operations.

  • AAR is consistent with the respective area demographics. At Mobility Systems, we have a few (what would be considered to be) minority employees. However, all staff are treated equally in terms of racial and cultural diversity.
