Mr. Deepak S. Nath, Ph.D. has been Senior Vice President of Abbott Vascular at Abbott Laboratories since April 2005. Previously, Mr. Nath served as Vice President, Vascular, Commercial. He joined Abbott in 2007 and held several leadership positions including Vice President, Abbott Molecular and Divisional Vice President & General Manager, Ibis Biosciences. In Abbott Vascular he served as Divisional Vice President, Strategic Marketing; Divisional Vice President & General Manager, Nordics and Eastern European Direct Operations; and Divisional Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa. Before joining Abbott, he held leadership roles at Amgen and worked as consultant at McKinsey & Company. He began his career as a scientist in the computational physics group at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Mr. Nath earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in Theoretical Mechanics (Mechanical Engineering), from the University of California, Berkeley.
