Ms. Heather L. Mason has been the executive vice President of Nutritional Products at Abbott Laboratories since 2015. She served as the Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Abbott Laboratories since 2014 until 2015. She served as the Senior Vice President at Abbott Diabetes Care, Inc. since 2008 until 2014. Ms. Mason served as Director of Dental Services at MicroDTI. She has been the Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Abbott Laboratories since July 2014 and served as its Senior Vice President of Diabetes Care since 2008. Ms. Mason served as Vice President of Pharmaceutical Products, Specialty Operations at Abbott Laboratories from 2001 to 2008 and its Corporate Officer since 2001. She served as Vice President, Latin America Pharmaceuticals at Abbott Laboratories from 2007 to 2008 and its Vice President, International Marketing from 2005 to 2007 and also its Vice President of Specialty Operations from 2001 to 2005. Ms. Mason served as Divisional Vice President and General Manager, Diabetes/Metabolics, Pharmaceutical Products Division of Abbott Laboratories since 2001. From 2000 to 2001, she served as Divisional Vice President, Oncology and Managed Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Products Division and from 1998 to 2000, served as Divisional Vice President, Managed Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Products Division. Ms. Mason joined Abbott in 1990. She held a number of positions in Abbott's U.S. pharmaceutical business, including oversight of Abbott's specialty pharmaceuticals, the diabetes/metabolics and oncology franchises and managed health care. Prior to Abbott, she served for Quaker Oats and FMC Corporation. Ms. Mason served as Business Unit Director, Managed Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Products Division since 1998. Ms. Mason serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association and Corporate Advisor for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and American Diabetes Association. She holds bachelor's degree in engineering from University of Michigan and master's degree in business administration from University of Chicago.
