Mr. Joseph J. Manning also known as Joe has been Senior Vice President of Nutrition International at Abbott Laboratories since January 2017 and served as its Vice President of Nutrition at Asia Pacific from 2015 to 2017, General Manager of Indonesia at Nutritional Products from 2014 to 2015 and General Manager of Russia at Nutritional Products from 2009 to 2014. Since joining Abbott in Canada as a sales representative in 1995, He has held a variety of roles within Abbott's Pharmaceutical and Nutrition organizations. He served within Abbott Nutrition as Commercial Director for Europe/Canada, as General Manager starting our commercial operations in Russia/CIS countries, as General Manager in Indonesia and immediately prior to assuming his current role, as Vice President, Nutrition, Asia Pacific. He served as an advisor to Deti Nashe, initiating programs whose goal is to enroll and educate caregivers in orphanages on how to decrease social disorders related to children's prolonged institutionalization. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
