Mr. Michael T. Rousseau, also known as Mike, has been President of Cardiovascular and Neuromodulation of Abbott Laboratories since January 2017. Mr. Rousseau has been Corporate Officer of Abbott Laboratories since 2017. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of St. Jude Medical, Inc. since January 1, 2016 until 2017. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of St. Jude Medical Inc. since January 2014 until 2015. Mr. Rousseau served as Group President of St. Jude Medical Inc. from January 2008 to January 2014 and served as its and Acting Chief Marketing Officer since 2012. He served as Group President, Cardiovascular and Ablation Technologies Division, Implantable Electronic Systems Division and U.S. Division, St. Jude Medical, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. He served as Group President of Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, Neuromodulation Division, Atrial Fibrillation Division and Cardiovascular Division St. Jude Medical, Inc. from 2009 to 2012. In addition, he has oversight of the U.S. Division as well as St. Jude Medical's global marketing function. He served as President of U S division at St. Jude Medical Inc. from 2009 to October 2011. He served as the President of U.S. Sales at St. Jude Medical Inc., since November 2009 and also from July 2001 to January 1, 2008. He joined St. Jude Medical Inc. in February 15, 1999 as Senior Vice President of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business Global Marketing. Since August 1999, he served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Mrketing at St. Jude Medical and combined the previously separate departments of marketing and sales. Prior to joining St. Jude, Mr. Rousseau served for Sulzer Intermedics, Inc., for 11 years. He served as Vice President of Tachycardia of Sulzer Intermedics, Inc., since 1997 and served as its Vice President of U.S. Sales and Marketing, since 1998. He served as Director, Risk Management of Sulzer Intermedics, Inc. Mr. Rousseau has been a Director of St. Jude Medical Inc. since January 1, 2016. He was presented with the Industry Alliance Award from the American College of Cardiology for two years concurrently; awards in 1995, 1996 and 1997 from the North American Pacing & Electrophysiology Society for outstanding support of educational programs; the ADDY Award in 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997 from the Houston Advertising Federation for promotions; and the Texas Award for Innovation and Assistance in the Business/School Partnership Program in the Texas school system. He was published in the University of Georgia, AMA Management textbook and the Sulzer Technical Review, Switzerland. Mr. Rousseau received his B.B.A. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia.
