The people I work with really do become like family. However, that being said; Being understaffed without our team leaders actively hiring and training new people, has the current employees completely burnt out and even getting injured on the job. No flexible hours, ignoring availability, etc.

They are willing to put in the work to help as best as they can.

Lately, not much. My coworkers encouragement and my store director helping has been the most positive thing at them moment

The best thing about my team, is that we help each other out as best as we can. Especially during the pandemic
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued, because I am being worked to death against my availability since our department manager left. My superiors have not taken action to bring someone in to fill her position, instead putting all the managerial responsibilities on me despite my refusals.
