Mr. J. Brian Angel has been the Head of the Government Relations at Aflac Incorporated since July 1, 2017 and previously served as its Vice President of State Government Relations from 2006 to July 1, 2017. Mr. Angel joined Aflac's Legal Department in 1992. He served as Second Vice President and Regulatory Counsel at Aflac Incorporated since 1996 and transferred to Albany, New York, where he assumed day-to-day responsibility for Aflac New York's legal, regulatory and government relations matters. He served as Privacy Officer at Aflac since 2001. He served as Counsel of Government Relations department at Aflac since 2003. He is a member of the state bars of Texas and Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin and holds Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
