Teresa Q. McTague — MD & Chief Investment Officer of Global Investments at Aflac

Ms. Teresa Q. McTague has been Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for Global Investments at Aflac Incorporated since December 2014. Ms. McTague served as the Chief Investment Officer and Director of Aflac U.S at Aflac Incorporated until December 2014. In this key leadership role, Ms. McTague was responsible for managing and monitoring its U.S. investment portfolios, including developing asset allocation and asset liability management strategies. She has nearly three decades of experience in portfolio management and portfolio strategy and implementation to Aflac. She served as the Client Strategist and Portfolio Manager at General Re-New England Asset Management, Inc., where she was responsible for managing and investing unaffiliated assets for insurance clients in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to that, she held management leadership positions at Gen Re Corporation, Johnson & Higgins and Alexander & Alexander. Ms. McTague received a Master of Business Administration Degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
