Having a real effect on end users who, in turn, have a real effect on millions of people.
What's the office vibe like at Alation?
A quiet stream of people and morning emails, followed by a fun communal lunch, followed by 20 minutes of -itis, followed by hours of rushing around and collaboration, followed by a slow trend towards the quiet as people put headphones on. Productive, but never without laughter.

Good, fun loving, intelligent people. The engineers are pragmatic. They enjoy laughing at a good/clever hack but have the sobriety to approach it with caution. DevOps are the hard-love gatekeepers. They'll stop you from doing something stupid, but it's honestly better and you know it. Marketing and sales are bubbly and passionate. The C-levels are constantly running around getting what has to be done, done.
