What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication, diversity, honesty, and integrity.
They should stop engaging in excessive positive reinforcement and only offer public praise when someone truly does something above and beyond. It eventually leads to complacency, lack of self-motivation, and reinforces behaviors managers desire rather than behaviors that develop the employee overall
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Its hard to feel valued with this company's culture
Not given enough autonomy to make decisions without consulting leadership and multiple other teams. A company policy that defines regularly scheduled employee reviews and estimated raise structure would go a long way to making people feel secure in their position. Quitting for a raise is a reality.
