Mr. James C. D'Arecca has been the Global Chief Accounting Officer of Actavis Limited since August 7, 2013. Mr. D'Arecca has been the Chief Accounting Officer of Allergan plc (formerly known as Actavis plc) since August 16, 2013 and also serves as its Vice President. He joined Actavis from Bausch & Lomb, where he served as its Chief Accounting Officer. He served for Merck & Co. Inc. as Business Development Controller, where he was responsible for being the primary liaison between the Controller's organization and the business development and corporate licensing functions. Mr. D'Arecca served as an Assistant Controller of Schering-Plough. He served for 13 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Certified Public Accountant. He focused on pharmaceuticals, medical devices and consumer products. He served as an Executive Director of Merck & Co. Inc. and Schering-Plough. Mr. D'Arecca has an MBA from Columbia University and has BS in Accounting from Rutgers University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
