Ms. Maria Teresa Hilado, also known as Tessa, has been the Chief Financial Officer at Allergan plc since December 8, 2014 and its Executive Vice President since December 8, 2014. Ms. Hilado served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Pepsico, Inc. since July 8, 2009. Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2009, She served as the Vice President of Global Finance and Treasurer at Schering-Plough Corp. from May 2008 to 2009. She was responsible for the strategic oversight and direction for the global Treasury function, including cash management, domestic and international funding, capital planning, bank relations, pension funding and investments and risk management. Previously, Ms. Hilado spent 17 years at General Motors (GM) Corporation, where she served a variety of senior finance roles including Assistant Treasurer, General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of GMAC Commercial Finance LLC from 2001 to 2005. She began her career with Far East Bank and Trust Company, Manila, Philippines. She held a variety of positions in M&A, labor negotiations and treasury. Ms. Hilado served as an Assistant Treasurer for General Motors Corporation (GM) from 2006 to 2008, where she was responsible for global funding, cash management, securitizations, foreign exchange, commodities, treasury information technology and various strategic financial initiatives. She joined GM in 1990 and served a variety of roles with increasing responsibility, including Chief Financial Officer of General Motors Acceptance Corporation Commercial Finance from 2001 to 2005, as well as positions in capital markets, business development, worldwide funding and pension analysis and overseas financing functions. She was a Director of Bausch & Lomb Holdings Incorporated. She has been a Director of H.B. Fuller Company since January 02, 2013. Ms. Hilado served as Director of Bausch & Lomb Incorporated since May 15, 2013 and Kythera Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. since October 1, 2015. She served as a Director of PT Merck Sharp Dohme Pharma Tbk. She serves on the board of Pepsi Bottling Ventures. She served on the board of Bausch + Lomb. Last year, she was named by Treasury and Risk Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance. She serves as Co-Chairman of the 2013 Strong Kids Campaign of the YMCA of Greater New York. Ms. Hilado holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from Ateneo De Manila University, Manila, Philippines and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business.
