Michael is the President & CEO of Allstream. As President of Allstream, Michael leads Allstream in its purpose: accelerating business innovation with cloud communications technologies, with a focus on helping to simplify our customers’ business communication needs.
Michael brings over two decades of leadership, operating and technology experience. After starting his career in R&D he gained experience in technology, IT, operations, customer service and sales. Over the past decade he demonstrated significant strategic and operational M&A expertise and successfully led several complex corporate integrations/separations and business transformations.
He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with an Option in Management Science from the University of Waterloo. Michael currently is the chair of the board of MEF (mef.net) an industry organization advancing ubiquitous global IT networking. He is a licensed pilot, a slow triathlete and an avid skier.
