What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership provide the direction and then get out of the way!
Freedom to take on tasks and projects with full support and with the free to take risk without fear
Ability to take on task and projects with full support and the ability to take risks without fear
No only is our leadership team very smart, they have an incredible pulse on the electronics design industry. Without them, we would not be where we are today. They are open to pivoting when things aren't working and quick to provide resources when a program is meeting our business objectives.
Altium is lead by the brightest minds in the EDA/ECAD industry. They are laser focused on our business success and are constantly innovating to keep us far ahead of the competition. They set the tone of delivery and results but also care about the people of the company.

Keeping the strategic direction of the company more consistent
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Free food and awesome healthcare
The salary is well paid
We have pretty competitive benefits, vacation days etc. One thing I personally love is our floating quarterly holiday and annual volunteer day
We have a favorable benefits package, healthcare, ample vacation, floating holidays, volunteer days etc. Most offices also have additional perks like gym and free food or lunches.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No employees stock plan at this public company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
we bring out problems and come up with solutions. Meetings are very engaging and active
Our people are individually very smart, and collectively able to get so much done quickly. You have to be open and collaborative to do well at Altium and our people really reflect that. I also love working with a global company - you're exposed to so many different perspectives and ways of working.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Not much they can do in such an oppressive culture. A-players quickly leave. Most of the company is B,C, etc players who are just trying to get by.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I love that there is so much potential and momentum at Altium, everyone is also really determined to make things happen!

What did you like most about the interview process?
I enjoyed the on-site interview (COVID safe), it was nice to meet my team prior to accepting the offer.
My boss. There are no standard interviews processes at the company. Or any processes for that matter. Most actions in any department are ad hoc.
