Having come from a toxic culture, AAG has been a breath of fresh air. It has been a great experience and I have ZERO complaints. Sure there may be times that the work is hard or times when I wish things were different, but that's the nature of all work. In the final analysis, AAG is AWESOME.
What are some of the best things about your team?
It sounds cliche, but the team functions like a family. We care about each other, look out for one another, and work hard to support and encourage all members of the team.
What makes you most happy at work?
A combination of the people (truly family) and the work itself (providing a better and more comfortable retirement for seniors). It's good to work at a company that is giving back and helping people.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate that the culture that Reza and the executives have established here. It's clear that they value the employees as individuals, recognize their contributions, value their participation in the mission, and care about us all as humans.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
As noted previously, it's the fact that the company values the people. I've worked at places where people were treated like cogs in a machine - used and spit out when they ceased to be "useful." At AAG, we are all valued and are treated as key assets to the organization and appreciated.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I appreciate the combination of salary and bonus. The salary is fair and commensurate with my experience. The bonus gives me the ability to be rewarded for the work I do and the contribution it makes to the overall performance of the company. It becomes an extra incentive to excel in my role.
