Overall, I have positive remarks. I can truly say the company is finally evolving in the areas that it has been behind in for many years. No company is perfect. An area of improvement is leaders not being accountable & not being held accountable. Get feedback from line level employees.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Referring to my leadership team, we collaborate and help each other well. For leadership above me, so far we have good support - better than previous years.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team I manage has a great personality and work together so well. My coworkers are collaborative and understanding. I don't think our leadership team can gel any better.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I don't have a description for the company culture. I still question if we have one. As far as the culture within our team, I describe as friendly, welcoming, driven, collaborative, and young.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't necessarily feel undervalued. I think my Director does a great job of ensuring I am valued, respected, and appreciated. However, looking at competing wages, I don't think my wage is competitive to other places. The reason I stay is because of my director.
What makes you most happy at work?
The flexibility my boss gives me. He allows me to manage my team as I wish and do the work I need to do. He does not micro manage. The other piece is the fact we have brought in young people and it's an opportunity to give them a chance to develop their careers.
