Bruce Hauk — President of Illinois American Water at American Water Works

Mr. Bruce Hauk has been the President of Illinois American Water Company at American Water Works Company, Inc. since January 1, 2015. Mr. Hauk serves as the Director of Financial Analysis and Decision Support for American Water. He served as Vice President of Operations for Indiana American Water, where he oversaw all operations within Indiana American Water's service districts. His responsibilities included leading operations at all of Indiana American Water's treatment and distribution facilities, as well as the company's employees in Indiana. He worked for Indiana American Water from 1996 to 2002 as a supervisor at the Johnson County Operations and as a superintendent for the Noblesville district. He also served as director of public works, town manager and deputy mayor/chief administrative officer for the City of Westfield, Ind. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He also earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in the disciplines of chemistry and life sciences from Indiana State University.
